Home Waterview® Information
Home Waterview® is a new offering by Pencilbrook. It was designed as an on-line water audit, providing immediate and accurate feedback. It is interactive and engaging.
The program shares its analytic engine with Waterwatch©. It uses application programming interface (API) architecture to facilitate integration with other client applications.
The Home Waterview® survey accurately captures customer data and is designed for ease of use. The survey form can easily be completed in 15 minutes without assistance. Program defaults speed completion. As with Waterwatch©, the software “traps” entry errors.
The Home Waterview® Report is highly graphic. Customers see their Home Waterview report immediately upon completion of the survey. The analytic engine generates graphic output as the user watches. Each report is unique.
This program is very cost efficient. Service is provided on a fixed charge per month basis, with unlimited customer access and no additional fee per use. Customization and setup costs are determined by client preferences.

Revere.org Showcases a Residential Cost Savings Program
The Revere city website - www.revere.org - contains many links to free services benefiting our citizens. Among the best is Revere Home Waterview. The Home Waterview program allows city residents to understand how they use water, inside and outdoors, and find ways to manage water consumption and costs. The program uses easy-to-read charts and graphs to show the user how they use water now, and how they can conserve. The potential savings are measured in gallons of water, saved energy used to heat water, and money saved.
We bear the burden of some of the highest water and wastewater costs in the nation, due in part to the MWRA. In addition, we pay high prices for electricity and natural gas. So it’s interesting that a typical Home Waterview analysis shows that the electricity saving potential, from reducing hot water consumption, is up to five times more than water savings.
